OK I am using an A4 5300 which needs upgrading cause it is slow. I only bought that to flash the Gigabyte MB Bios on my sons build so it would take his 7700. The 5300 is slow however (well it was cheap) and only shows 6.1 on the W7 experience index. It has a noticable delay processing RAW files in Photoshop which is my main use.
Mostly I do Photographic processing and I have recently changed from using the GPU on the 5300 to a Radeon R7 240 2GB card so I don't really need to be limited to an APU and could consider one of the new Athlons (which I know very little about).
I am interested to know what opinions are on the new Athlons, are they directly comparable in performance to the APU's which I am familiar with?
